Leaving

It's 5:30am here. I'm leaving Vegas tomorrow morning. I've finally gotten used to it and started enjoying my lifestyle here, too. Same feeling I got last time; don't wanna go back. But it's time for reality soon, I suppose.

I realize there's still a lot about American culture that I find abrasive and don't really agree with, but there's also a lot I enjoy. I enjoy the candidness. I enjoy the compulsion to befriend people, and to believe, maybe naively sometimes, that there's also something better, something higher, something more profound. I just don't like having it nailed in my head at times.

I had a really good time, even though I didn't entirely accomplish my mission (to actually MAKE money). But it's all a learning experience, and as long as I don't quit, I can't fail. How's that for American naivety?

Happy Holidays.
